Terminal Section Analyzer
Basic Overview
The terminal section analyzer is an accurate and practical inspection device for analyzing the cross-section state of a terminal after crimping. It consists of cutting, grinding, etching (electrolysis), development, blow-drying, computer-aided measurement and analysis systems, and benches. It’s controlled by a PLC that can automatically finish cutting, grinding, polishing, and performing other development work on the terminal samples.
Its image interface is intuitive, fast, convenient, and easy to learn and use. It can increase the detection content and print format according to user requirements. The analysis report is comprehensive and detailed. It is necessary for controlling wire harness production process. It can greatly improve the standard, quality and level of wire harnesses while meeting the ever-increasing requirements for the quality of wire harness products.
Work Principle
The automatic terminal profile analyzer is a testing device for detecting whether a terminal is pressed or not in the production of wire harnesses for automobiles and other mobile machines. Its testing process is cutting the crimped terminal at the crimping point, grinding the end surface on the side of the cut terminal to remove surface burrs and dirt, and smoothing the cross-section surface of the treated terminal. Then the terminal slice is placed under the microscope to provide a comparative analysis to judge if the crimping quality of the terminal is qualified. The comparative analysis process is completed by the analysis software specially developed by our company.
